Full-page calendar Boy Scout Troop 165 is part of the Tussahaw district which is comprised of Henry and Butts counties. The district is one of 5 within the Flint River Council, which serves 8 counties in the Middle region of Georgia. Our Chartered Organization is Harvest Point UMC in McDonough, GA. Troop and Patrol Meetings are every Sunday at 3:30pm at the Scout Hut located at 851 Pates Creek Road, Hampton Our mailing address is Troop 165, PO Box 2315, Stockbridge GA 30281 UNIFORMS: Boys like to belong. The uniform is a symbol of belonging to a gang, in this case, a great gang called Scouting. The uniform creates an image and shows each Scouts commitment to the aims of Scouting. The uniform gives a Scout identity. It's practical and easy to wear and provides a boy a chance to show many of his accomplishments in Scouting by wearing his badges. Please feel free to visit our meetings anytime. Our scouts enjoy visitors, and welcome the chance to bring other boys into the adventure of Boy Scouting. We are a very active troop with outings each month of the year, along with participating in district and council activities. This troop is blessed with many active adults, but the boys run the show. Each meeting includes a chance to have fun and a chance to advance in scouting. Click for more information about Troop 165. Bo – Mart The Troop 165 store is open for business. We try to have basic needs on hand at the Scout Hut. Since there is no Scout Store close anymore, we hope this will make Scouting easier. We are the only Troop we know of to offer the convenience of in-Hut shopping. As we grow our inventory watch for uniforms and more gear. Rental gear - Troop 165 maintains a small inventory of rental gear. Gear can be rented the Tuesday before a campout, and should be returned clean and dry the Tuesday after the campout.
